To keep your 3D printed items looking great, avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Clean them gently with a soft cloth and steer clear of harsh chemicals. Simple care for lasting quality!

Most of my pieces are printed in PLA, a popular 3D‑printing material that is strong and detailed but not designed for very high heat. PLA can start to soften if it is exposed to temperatures above about 60–65 °C (around 140–150 °F) for a prolonged period.

Normal shipping conditions and a package sitting on a porch for a short time are very unlikely to affect PLA prints.. The biggest risk is inside closed spaces like a hot car or metal mailbox, where temperatures can climb far above the outside air temperature.

Avoid leaving your item in a closed vehicle, metal mailbox, or other enclosed space in direct sun, especially in very hot climates. If you live in an area with extreme heat and are worried about this, contact me before ordering and I can discuss alternative materials that handle higher temperatures better (such as PETG or similar options)
